Rtn. Dr. A. Ratna Phani is a distinguished nanotechnologist and materials scientist with over 30 years of global R&D, academic, and industry experience across India, Europe, and the United States. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry and has served in leadership roles at premier institutions and companies including Texas Instruments, IICT, CSEM Switzerland, University of L'Aquila, Italy, and University of New Hampshire, NH, USA.
He has authored over 270 international publications, holds 14 patents, and has delivered over 350 conference presentations, including plenary and invited talks. His contributions span nano-pharmaceuticals, nano-coatings, biomedical devices, nutraceuticals, advanced materials, and energy applications.
Dr. Phani has been a visiting professor at leading global universities, a reviewer for over 26 journals, and a recipient of 24 national and 3 international awards. He brings deep insight in R&D commercialization, with 36+ nanotech-based products commercialized.
As Mentor and Advisory Member at SPS Associates, Dr. Phani supports the firm with scientific and technical perspectives on complex patent matters, particularly in materials science, nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare innovations.
